Stephen Wellington Norton, Sr., had a wife. Her name was Minerva J. Norton. She died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1888. Her body was interred in lot 22 in the Union Cemetery. She was 68 years, 7 months, and 15 days old. She was survived by her husband and two sons, H. G. Norton and Rev. S. W. Norton.
