H. C. Weaver and J. P. Keller

                                                     Blacksmiths. Winfield.
Both H. C. Weaver and J. P. Keller came to Winfield in 1885. Little is known about either man.
Winfield Directory has information on Keller but not on Weaver as it was not complete.

Weaver and Keller are about completing a stage coach for Cal. Ferguson to run from Fort Dodge into Texas. It is a fine piece of work.

A. H. Doane is having the old blacksmith shop occupied by Weaver & Keller moved to the rear of the lot on which it now stands, corner 9th and Millington streets, and will commence immediately to erect a business building on the corner where it formerly stood.
