An Early Car on Main Street
in Winfield

Hand tinted, looking north on Main St. from 10th and Main. Automobile on left, may be earliest picture of auto in Winfield, no street car wires yet, but poles are in place. Before May, 1909.

In the distance toward Island Park, no telephone cross bars, these appear to be the pole that will support the power wires for the electric trolley.
